70 Main Street has launched a new event marketing software called "Slish". Slish captures the brand excitement you create at your events and amplifies it into your guests’ social sphere.
Using Slish, event guests who register online receive an e-ticket mailed to their inbox. At the door, guests simply show their ticket (on their phone or printout) and event staff scans the e-ticket with the Slish mobile app to check guests into the event. This scan not only checks the guest into the event, it also broadcasts this check-in to the guest’s social networks, so everybody knows that the guest is about to experience your event.
Arguably the most intriguing aspect of Slish is that each guest receives a personalized badge that is connected to their social profiles. This allows guests to engage with various event activities and seamlessly share these interactions with their social networks. For example, event staff can engage with partygoers taking photos and videos. Using Slish, these interactions can be instantaneously published to guests Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn feeds, by simply scanning their badges. Slish also allows guests to interact with the event environment – they can “Like” something by simply scanning their badge.
Last but not least, guests can also use Slish to network with other guests by scanning each other's badges using a personal mobile device. This scan allows the person to send a "friend or connection requests" at which point the other person can accept or deny the request.
